Two Teams Play on Ashland's Opening Day

We sent two teams to help Ashland on their opening day. The Giants lost 14-0 to a tough 50/70 team and the A's won 13-3. Per one of the umpires our teams were "cool" and the players were "great". A great way to start a season with a lot of interlock games with other leagues all divisions except Rookie Baseball and T-ball. Interlock games are games with other leagues in your district or leagues in a different district. Some leagues may have only one or two teams in a division, so in order to have a full schedule and not one playing the same team 12 times you create an interlock schedule with other leagues. This year we are playing games with Ashland, Phoenix-Talent, & Klamath Falls from our district and Medford Nationals, Central Point, Grants Pass & Brookings from other districts depending upon the division.
