Spring is around the corner, and that means it's time to get our Fields ready for another exciting season of Little League baseball and softball! I'm reaching out to invite you to our annual Field Cleanup Day on Saturday, March 8th at 9:00 AM.
Why Your Help Matters
Our fields need some TLC before we can ever start practicing and playing games on them. Winter is never very kind to them, but with enough helping hands, we can complete all necessary work in just a few hours while teaching our kids team work and the value of serving our community.
What We'll Be Doing
⚾ Raking and cleaning dugouts
🥎 Picking up trash and debris
⚾ Weeding and preparing infields
🥎 Building up pitchers mounds
⚾ General field maintenance
🥎 Putting up sponsor banners
Board members will be working alongside you and available to direct work and answer questions. There will be check-off sheets posted at every Field so everyone knows what needs to be done, and what's been completed.
What to Bring
📌 Work gloves
📌 Rakes, shovels, brooms, a wheelbarrow (whatever landscaping/yard maintenance tools you have)
📌 Water bottle
📌 Hat and sunscreen
