Medford American Little League (MALL) includes baseball and softball divisions for all children, ages 4–16 residing in Medford (East of I-5) and White City. In addition to practicing on-field fundamentals and the excitement of playing games in a competitive environment, MALL pridefully enlists the sport to strengthen its participants’ self-esteem and confidence.
Regardless of physical size, skill, strength, gender, religion, or nationality, MALL offers the opportunity for a child to experience and benefit from the life lessons, socialization, and camaraderie that are the cornerstones of the program.
MALL is a community baseball and softball program operated by parents and local volunteers, supported by local businesses and is dedicated to providing any child with a fun and engaging youth sports environment.
Registration typically opens in December of the year before, and runs through mid-February prior to the start of the Spring season. Practices are in March, and regular season games are in April and May on weeknights and Saturdays.
Requests for players to play up a division or down a division may be made by
contacting the MALL board. Decisions are at the sole discretion of the MALL board. Player safety - that of the player making the request as well as other players on the field - is taken into consideration when making this decision.
